Stuart began his career in inter-networking; the process of physically creating computer communications and programming of routers and servers for data storage and applications. Subsequent training included installation and termination of telecommunication wiring and fibre optics.
Stuart’s desire for a more physically demanding role lead him to start his pre-apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and Repair; where he qualified in just 3 years. Stuart continued on this training pathway to become a master technician within 1 year.
Stuart has since worked in the civil construction and mining sectors where his knowledge was expanded vastly. Stuart has extensive experience with heavy component repairs, onsite diagnosis and repair on a variety of machinery, systems modification and a range of other hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical diagnosis and repair work.
He is a proficient welder with a deep sense of creativity and problem solving, he has a firm understanding of hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems. Stuart is adept at on-site work, including mining and construction; familiar with rules and guidelines & has a range of references from previous work experiences over his career.
